São José Church

Façade of São José Church in Porto Alegre

São José Church is a traditional Catholic church built by the German immigrant community, preserving this important historical and cultural legacy to this day.

More than a temple, São José Church represents the continuity of a tradition that spans generations: it was in this church that the bride's grandparents and parents celebrated their marriage. By holding their wedding at the same altar, the couple renews this family history and continues a tradition that reaches the third generation.

Gift Registry

Your presence is our greatest gift. For those who wish to give us something, we have put together a registry to make the honeymoon of our dreams come true, which we will take already at the beginning of December: five days in Paris, one night in a historic castle in the Loire Valley, and four days in Bordeaux.

We will visit the great Parisian landmarks — the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the streets of Montmartre — and spend one night in a castle surrounded by the Loire vineyards. In Bordeaux, we will visit century-old wineries in Saint-Émilion and watch the sunset from the top of the Dune du Pilat. In addition, we will take advantage of the Christmas season to discover the French Christmas markets — and you should know how much we (or, rather, the bride) love Christmas.

Every contribution received will go toward a concrete experience of this trip: a dinner at a Parisian bistro, a wine tasting, the night at the castle. These will be memories we will carry with us forever, and you will be part of them.
